Thanks for the wonderful post as usual. But there is a lot of "cd spinning" noise on both discs which ruin the sound. And no doubt your FLAC efforts too.
On disc 1 it starts on track 7 and continues throughout. On disc 2 it starts on track 7 again but is not so prominent thereafter, only coming back in the last few tracks.
Would be great if you could post a noise free version, maybe in mp3. It's a great set. Thanks!

I'm sorry, but I cannot fix any issues regarding sound. These discs were given to me as is.
If I'm hearing what I think you're hearing on disc one it might be one of the instruments in the background.
Disc 2 has some faint static sounds on some tracks. I can't really clear this up, but if it helps at all, here they are in mp3.

I'm quite sure it's not background instruments. But thanks so much for the efforts with the mp3s. Will give them a listen and see.
